Sequential Group Composition: A Window into the Mechanics of Deep Learning
[Submitted on 3 Feb 2026 (v1), last revised 29 May 2026 (this version, v2)] / arXiv.org
How do neural networks trained over sequences acquire the ability to perform structured operations, such as arithmetic, geometric, and algorithmic computation? To gain insight into this question, we introduce the sequential group composition task. In this task, networks receive a sequence of elements from a finite group encoded in a real vector space and must predict their cumulative product. This task can be order-sensitive and cannot be solved by a linear model. Our analysis isolates the roles

CliffordNet: All You Need is Geometric Algebra
[Submitted on 11 Jan 2026 (v1), last revised 15 Feb 2026 (this version, v2)] / arXiv.org
Modern computer vision architectures, from CNNs to Transformers, predominantly rely on the stacking of heuristic modules: spatial mixers (Attention/Conv) followed by channel mixers (FFNs). In this work, we challenge this paradigm by returning to mathematical first principles. We propose the Clifford Algebra Network (CAN), also referred to as CliffordNet, a vision backbone grounded purely in Geometric Algebra. Instead of engineering separate modules for mixing and memory, we derive a unified inte

A2UI v0.9: The New Standard for Portable, Framework-Agnostic Generative UI
Google A2UI Team / developers.googleblog.com
A2UI v0.9 introduces a framework-agnostic standard designed to help AI agents generate real-time, tailored UI widgets using a company’s existing design system. This update simplifies the developer experience with a new Agent SDK for Python, a shared web-core library, and official support for renderers like React, Flutter, and Angular. By decoupling UI intent from specific platforms, the release enables seamless, low-latency streaming of generative interfaces across web and mobile applications. I
