Moka is a cute, 104K-parameter Go model with 128 KB of weights and a 134 KB total browser payload. We distilled it from KataGo using teacher positions and harder positions from Moka’s games. Moka (~2 kyu) wins 30% of games against KataGo b6c96.

Moka’s browser path is about 127× smaller than the teacher path. The point is not to replace KataGo. It is to put a learned Go player inside an ordinary webpage.
